
Renee Chambers Liciaga was born in Philadelphia, PA, and is a true product of the iconic Philadelphia Sound. She is the daughter of the late Roland Chambers (MFSB), a guitarist and composer who worked alongside Kenny Gamble and Leon Huff of Philadelphia International Records. Her mother was also a singer in the 1960s doo-wop group, The Orlons.
Renee’s career spans over thirty years and includes performances across twelve countries, working with legendary artists such as Andrew Lloyd Webber, Mercedes Ellington, Donny Osmond, and the late Michael Jackson.
Her Broadway touring credits include Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, West Side Story, Smokey Joe’s Café, Dreamgirls, and Starlight Express, among others.
As a director and choreographer, Renee’s work has been showcased on college campuses and in corporate productions throughout the tri-state area. Her credits include Ragtime, Godspell, Kiss Me, Kate, A Chorus Line, as well as work with clients such as Herr’s, Disney, and Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield.
A true “glam-mom on the move,” Renee is active both behind the scenes and in front of the camera, with TV and print work for T-Mobile, Santander Bank, A Place for Mom, Chicago: The Musical, and Main Line Health, among others.
Renee is also dedicated to mentoring and coaching the next generation of talent, while serving on various boards committed to youth development and education.
