Renee’s Bio

RENEE CHAMBERS

A product of the Philadelphia Sound, Renee is the daughter of the late Roland Chambers(MSFB) guitarist/composer with Kenny Gamble and Leon Huff of Philadelphia International Records. Her Mother also sang in the 60’s doo wop group the Orlons. Spending her childhood growing up with such artist as Gladys Knight, Lou Rawls and Phyllis Hyman it is easy to see that the music runs deep in her blood.

At age 16, Renee began her Professional Musical Theater career in the Broadway/National and International Companies of Jesus Christ Superstar, Westside Story, Joseph and the AmazingTechnicolorDreamcoat,Dreamgirls,Smokey Joes Café and Evita to name a few.
Renee’s’ multi talents have also taken her to avenues in Studio Recording, Modeling , Choreography, Dance Workshops and even performing songs in Japanese and German.
Mrs. Chambers-Liciaga’s’ biggest and best role is Mom to two children. Renee continues to stay active thru the Arts in Philadelphia and NYC performing in Live Industrial Shows, Choreographing for Local Dance Schools/ Teams and private coaching.
